Need Advice on Sound System

Ok, i'm new to the group, but not to the protege. i have a 94 lx and i've focused alot of attention on getting a kick *** sound system without dishin out the dough. so far, i've only spent about $900 on parts on my system over a year and a half, and i've spent nothing on install fees, doing all work in an amature fashion, pulling **** apart, installing **** and making it work. well here goes, so far my current configuration is as so:

Head Unit - Pioneer DEH-3400 MOSFET50 (new) bout 22X4 rms, 50 max

Front door speakers- 6 1/2" inch Pioneer 2-ways in the front and Jensen 1/2" inch tweeters custom mounted on side mirror panels spliced in together, no crossover... running off the head unit currently

Rear Deck speakers- 2 6 1/2" inch Boston Acoustic 2-ways running off my JBL amplifier, getting about 50x2 watts max on each, running flat crossover and running bass savers (capacitors) to minimize bass, but still get some decent hits out of them.. trust me, with the air flow of the subs, it's needed, the speakers in the rear deck distort too much eitherwise, and the cross over on the amp makes it sound like it's playing in a mailbox under the sea if i run it in high pass...EVEN with my gains and frequency controls adjusted

Subs- simple 2 10" inch Rocksford Fosgate PunchZ's in a simple sealed box, only running 1 currently cause i only had the JBL 4 channel amp... it works best running 1 sub and having the rear deck speakers on amp cause there just isn't enough power... i ran both subs off the amp and the rear deck speakers off the head unit for a while with bass savers on them, but i got sick of the damn distortion out of the back speakers... the ideal sound came from cutting the back speakers out completely and just running subs in the back, which to me is unacceptable

Amps- Now, pay attention... what i have installed right now is a JBL 405 4 channel amp (200x1, 100x2, or 50x4). i have 100 watts bridged off of 2 channels going to 1 sub currently, and the remaining 2 channels powering 50 watts to each rear deck boston. now in my possesion is a used, uninstalled Jensen 200 watt amp that is 200x1 or 100x2... this is where i need help.

now, i want EVERYTHING to sound the way it should, granted i could get better equipment, but this is what i have, and i need help on this matter.

ideally, i want to use my JBL 4 channel amp to power my surrounds, giving me crossover capability and cleaner sound out of my surrounds, then i want to take the Jensen 200 watt amp and run 100 watts to each sub, so the whole system is complete and i can quit messing with it... for now. my question to you guys is what do you recommend that i do? does this sound like the best idea, given all of the equipment i have and with no option of getting new equipment, what do you recommend? do i need to install a capacitor? i know i need to upgrade my wiring to a 400 watt, multi-amp kit, but do i need a 1/2 farad or full 1 farad cap for the system? should i upgrade the head unit first before i even contemplate anything (an answer i'm hoping not to hear)? do i need to invest in distribution blocks or anything? i want to get this right the first time before i blow my money on something i can't afford to fix. i only have experience in single amp installs, so this is where i'm lacking, i need to learn and i'm hoping you guys can be the teachers. can you help me out? thanx

and ultimately, once all that stuff sounds alright, i'm going to focus on stipping out most of those noisey plastic panels in the trunk, putting dynamat on the bottom of the trunk, dynamatting the trunk lid, then carpeting over everything exposed. then the rear deck gets dynamatted and front doors will be dynamatted as well... thats when i get money though, lol.
