hello
i have a question concerning the nardi st wheel...

in my new bought protege there is a plastic steering wheel (lower class version sold in germany :-(, but also with airbag ....

i wanted to buy the nardi wheel afterwards but everyone told me i could not get it (because noone offers it , not even mazda germany)....

now i have a german ebay auction where the nardi wheel is sold (built off a brand new mx5 (miata cabriolet in usa?)) and i suggest that i could buy that one and put it in my protege...

do you know if this is possible? it looks all the same to me...

now this sounds very good to me...
i called mazda germany today and had a good talk. they said it would be possible if the part numbers of the both steering wheels were the same... then it would "fit" on my protege. next necessary step would be to replace the mx5-wheel's airbag with my airbag...

i really hope it works out because 99€ (about 97US$) would be really cool for a new steering wheel :-) and if i could sell the mx5's airbag then.... heheheh...suuuupercool
