mp5: how do u take off the radio/center console?

I came across the same problem today, there are no screws, just six plastic clips.
Here´s the method ELEmental59437 from protege5.com used:
"turn the air vents pointing down.. put your fingers on the silver part right where the vents are (the little space where the vents would be if they werent facing down).. and pry it off.. it should just pop right off.. then you unplug 3 wire harnesses and presto...."
It worked for some people so I'm going to try it tomorow.

there are two cables, one going to drivers side, the other goes in behind the glove box,
these both need to be unclipped to get the surround all the way off, if you cant unclip them, turn the dials for air and vents, and it will give enough slack.

I don´t know about this guys, but I had to take mine out because I´m replacing it witht he silver/cf one. The technique worked like a charm, one pull and it was out. Remember that you have to disconect the a/c wires, in my car there were 3 plus a harness and you also have to disconect the emergency signal thing.
