Has anyone had any problems with they're MP3 deck.....My kenwood deck display doesn't work anymore.....it seems like the faceplates not connected though it is. I was wondering if it goes under mazda's warranty or kenwoods? Cause it is technically a factory deck, isn't it?

 

Goes under Mazdas warrenty.
You dealer should replace it for you.

 

thanks for the input....i took it to mazda and they said it was no problem to replace....not sure though on how long it will take to arrive

Alot but I think they are replacing them all with 828's now. Most people that got the MP3 with the 919 wanted the 828.
The 919 was a japanese eck that had alot of display options over the 828 but some practical features like detachable face were let out.

 

I remember reading how the early MP3 playing Kenwood's were directly brought over from the Japanese market... and how they didn't have detachable faces because they don't have that kind of theft problem in Japan. D'oh for us!!
