Angry more about removing side moldings

i took off the first tiny 6 inch chunk of molding and it came off pretty well. after about 10 minutes and a few sprays of adhesive remover, i had also gotten rid of a lot of the double sided tape, but there is still residue that wont come off.

any ideas?

Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover worked great, it removed every last bit of adhesive, and was a lot cheaper than the actual 3M adhesive remover.

Lightbulb

use wax and grease remover. Use a soft cloth not paper towel, paper towel scrathes the paint!!! U should be able to get some at any place that sells auto paint supplies.

de-greaser was the first thing i tried. didnt work.

the wd-40 didnt work either, though it was a good idea.

bug & tar remover worked very well! thank you!

though it still took some scrubbing, it did the job very well, and my car looks great.

about the first to products. im not saying they dont work period. just not on a car as old as mine (95) i think the older your car, the more heavy-duty chemical you have to find.

thank you for everyone who responded.
