anyone have a momo shifter boot on? if so... how do you like? did you have to trim to fit? any pics?

 

I have the Momo leather boots on both my shift **** and on my e-brake handle. The shift boot is nice because it screws on to the base of the Momo Shift **** giving it a real clean look. But they are freaking expensive. To install I just ripped out the old boot and tucked and stuffed the Momo boot down in the center console between the plastic bracket that held in the old OEM boot and the console. If you want to remove the bracket that holds in the boot you have to remove the entire center console, i.e. pain in the ***. Go though my photo album and there are plenty of pics of the shift ****, link in my sig. If you want I can take some detailed pics and post the here?

 

On the first gens...they dont fit, they can be kinda loose. If you want a custom colored boot, go back to the MazdaDealer or try to find one online somwhere. MOMO makes some shitty products IMO.
