moisture in door

I recently took my door panels (again) to do some work. I put some sound deadening in the doors. I had the door panels off and rode around till I was finished with the work. One day it was raining and the door panel was all inside and my baffle was even wet. I am not sure if the water is coming from the top of the door or the bottom. I also am not sure if the door is just not sealing well since the door panel is off. I have heard that the proteges have problems with this. Is it normal to have this much water in the door? I don t want my focals getting wet, they are not cheap. cause if the baffle is getting wet then the speaker will get wet.

If this is a problem not caused by the door panel being off does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this. I was thinking of buying some plastic baffles (enclosures for the speakers and cutting the back out. I dont want to lose the air space, but just use them like the factory splash guard that was on the stock speakers.

Any suggestions would help. Thanks guys. parks853
