Mazdaspeed front bumper question

I'm from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I was at the NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) in Detroit last January. Anyways, when I saw the front bumper on the new Mazdaspeed, I just loved it and would like to get it for my P5. But when the Mazdaspeeds showed up here, they have the same bumper as my car and previous year MP3's So my question is . . . do your Mazdaspeeds in the states (or I guess anywhere) look like this:

or click here: http://www.urbanracer.com/features/sema02_1/0022.jpg

or are they the same as the old everywhere and that bumper was just a tease.

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

while its true....when the FIRST Mazdaspeeds came out...the orange and black ones...they had the same body on them as the MP3's

however, when the 2003.5's came out and you had additional colors such as Blazing YELLOW, and Titanium Grey.....THEN the front end came out looking like the one in your picture. In addition, the rear apron changed...as did the rear spoiler/wing.

cool thanks.

anyone have a 2003.5 Mazdaspeed, and would like to give me the part number off your bumper. If I remember correctly, the lower part looked like it was a seperate piece and is really all I need.

Thanks again.

No 2003.5's yet? ****, they've been on the lots here for 3 months now! No silver or Laser Blue yet, but we've got the gray and mustard ones!

The front piece is just an addon clip. You'll need that main piece, the 2 black grills that fill the non-functional holes, and the mounting hardware.

Personally, I think it's ugly as hell, but if someone actually made it functional, I'd be down with that. The fog light holes (if cut out) line up with the tires. I had a look, and there's lots of room for some ducting directed around to the brakes. Since I auto-x and race alot, if someone made one of those that was actually functional (although ugly) I might consider it.
