leather conditioning

You know how when the car was new, the leather wrapped steering wheel and shift **** had a nice, dull yet lustrious finish to it? Well, over the years, oils from the hands contributed to the leather becoming overly shiny. Does anyone know of a good product/technique for removing that shine to get it back to the more original look? I know this sounds perhaps a little silly.

I think

I think that shine its not due the oil, its due the rubbing, so you "polished" the leather, if you look closely youll see a different texture...

I have consistently (since new) hit it with leather cleaner and conditioner. Try it.
