Kenwood KDC-x659 MP3 Deck

Hey,

I FINALLY upgraded my stock deck in my car after 3 years. I came across a deal on a Kenwood KDC-X659 mp3 deck.

I've always wanted to get a MP3 deck since they came out, and I heard Kenwood makes the best.

Just wondering if anyone has it... comments? Also what did you pay?

I got mine for $349cdn which is around $220usd.

Is that a good deal? The cheapest I could find it on the internet for was $299usd.

Good stuff... I really don't have the money for it, but I'm one not to pass up a good deal... now to get my *** on those battery tie down's to pay for this sucker!

MP3 decks ROCK!! Kenwood makes good ones at decent prices - just DON'T GO AIWA!! Not that you would - but the Aiwa MP3 decks are horrible in many respects.

I just got the same deck off of eBay for $260 new in box.

Can't wait to hook it up!

Yea, you got a good deal. I paid 320$ for a pioneer premier series deck. It does all the mp3 stuff with folders and everything, it also has some other fancy visual display stuff. (thats probably what I paid for.) but I love it.

Yeah this deck has all those fancy graphics (dolphins and stuff)... but the BEST feat which I recently tried out was the CD-RW / MP3 option. Now I only need to carry one CD with me all the time...

The graphics are nice, but only for the first little while... I like keeping it on FOLDER / TRACK TITLE/ARTIST...

I just got mine at car toys. Probably not the cheapest place, but they could install everything that day so I did it.

Highly recommend, specially if you can get if the price I did (which I don't think so anymore). I'm running them to factory speakers, and after showing the deck to all my friends they all asked if I upgrade the speakers in my car as well, and I said nope. Needless to say they were quite impressed. This deck really takes advantage of the Pioneer speakers that Mazda put in.
