Unhappy How to install two single DIN units?

I'm putting a sinlge DIN DVD player in with a single DIN flip out monitor above it. How exactly do I install both units? Does one just lay on top of the other? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Adam

Will need make a bracket that holds them together (metal backstraps work well) cut four 4" strips and screw them to the sides in the provided threaded holes. Then you'll need to make brackets to hold them in place.

Hot glue and duct tape do not qualify

you could also go to the junkyard, and find an import that is equipped with both a stock head and an extra component (maybe an in-dash cd player, or an equalizer), and pull the brackets off that hold the two of them together and modify it to mount to the dash. I'm using a pair of brackets from my old Toyota Corolla for a monitor/head unit install that i'm doing right now.

Be careful to leave some breathing space between the two units...generally you would always put the hotter running unit above the other (i.e. head unit on top and eq below)

Funny you would not have bought a DVD player WITH a flip out monitor and save yourself some coin and trouble with the installation. But I'm guessing you are working with what you have...

Keep us updated with your progress and include pics...sounds like a cool install
