Hood Warp .. HELP!!

Ok guys, I really need some help here. I bought this hood last fall in September and had it installed for a month or so. It fit perfect at that time and I took it off in about a month or so when it started snowing. The hood is made by DGM so it should be pretty high quality, and I stored it laying flat inside the box it came in, surrounded by all the foam and other stuff used to protect it in shipping.

However, when I took it out of the box this spring and installed it once again it seems to have warped quite a bit. I also installed hood props at the same time which made matters worse, but the pics below are WITHOUT the hood props installed. I tried leaving the car sit in the sun for a couple hours, then put some bricks on top and left them overnight hoping that the temperature change from hot to cool would cause it to go back down. Needless to say .. it didn't help.

Does anyone else here know what I can do to try and make it go back down so it sits flush with the fenders. It just looks stupid stickin up like that and it vibrates like crazy on the highway.

I've never seen a hood warp that much, that's friggin weird. Was the hood subjected to extreme heat or cold? Is the underside of it (frame and stuff) all carbon fiber as well? I know I stored my APC CF hood (low quality) standing up for two winters and it was fine, and I left my Fiber Images hood laying down but supported in the middle only, and it was ok too.

No the underside isn't CF .. I think it's fiberglass. The coldest it got this past winter was like -30 or something .. so it wasn't TOO extreme. I mean it just sat in my garage inside the box like I said, and when I put it on it looked like this ^^

Although I did have the sides painted at the same time, and I didn't test fit the hood before painting .. so now I'm starting to think if somehow the paintjob had something to do with it. I don't see how it could, but I've also never seen a hood warp this much either.

Was the hood baked (cured) after painting? (they usually do so at low enough temps that it couldn't be a problem)

I really don't know, but that's what I was thinking might have caused the warping as well. Oh well, I'll just have to live with it I guess..

No good .. already talked to Amie about it. She just said "Just leave it on there for a couple months and it should go back." It's been almost 3 now and nothing happened ..
