well even I am a member of Yahoo...and gettting in to the groups is possible...just not into THAT group....seems kind of silly to go and join a group just to look at someones photo...don't ya think?

94DXPro....how about you bringing up that image...saving it...then go and post it up somewhere so all that want to give you some assistance can view it....that would certainly help.

It's a picture of a protege with the EVO3 kit and thats a Subaru hood sccop. I don't think it's a GTX model though, nor is that a GTX hood.

The GTX hoods have 3 vents just above the turbo and i'm not sure if they ever came on the Sedan GTX, but did on the hatchback GTX.

this is the hood 94dxpro was refering too:

This is a GTX hood with the vents:

I would have to agree that those are ugly.
If I were to put a scoop on, which I'm thinking about once I finish my second motor, I would do something like this http://www.geocities.com/workshopx/nciv1.jpg
If that link doesn't work from here, the page is http://www.geocities.com/workshopx/1.html
...Yeah, I know. ...nasty civic.

It's a good example of a good hood scoop.

the hood vents or the bumper?

the hood gets cut and the vents go in...

the bumper upper grille gets cut and the bumper goes on...

there's no real mystery, just the cutting down of the upper grill to fit the sloped hood.

I was actaully talkinb about the bumper... sorry for not being specific.

The 323 front looks just a little different than the Pro's pic and I wasn't sure how much trouble it is to get the bumper to fit in there like that.

I like the paintjob too!

its a little hard to get the 'real piece' in the states ....
but you can get the vents an install them on your current car's hood

It looks like it's a jspec front bumper w/ a front spoiler

I wonder if the front spoiler (044TAMABG1 front spoiler (blue car) 234) would fit a US front bumper? If not I would go w/ the jspec
