Where can i find this hood on this GTX?? or is it just a hood scoop that was put on???http://groups.yahoo.com/group/proteg.../abluegtx8.jpg

Your links dont seem to work..
try it again Michael |
well even I am a member of Yahoo...and gettting in to the groups is possible...just not into THAT group....seems kind of silly to go and join a group just to look at someones photo...don't ya think?
94DXPro....how about you bringing up that image...saving it...then go and post it up somewhere so all that want to give you some assistance can view it....that would certainly help. :D |
It's a picture of a protege with the EVO3 kit and thats a Subaru hood sccop. I don't think it's a GTX model though, nor is that a GTX hood.
The GTX hoods have 3 vents just above the turbo and i'm not sure if they ever came on the Sedan GTX, but did on the hatchback GTX. this is the hood 94dxpro was refering too: http://www.automediazone.com/images/..._scoop_EVO.jpg This is a GTX hood with the vents: http://www.automediazone.com/images/pro/323_EVO_kit.jpg |
Originally posted by Gro Harlem [B]that isn't even a aftermarket hood...they are just add on's. You cna get a hoodscoop and mold it to your hood (if you actaully think that looks good which i don't). I would have to agree that those are ugly. If I were to put a scoop on, which I'm thinking about once I finish my second motor, I would do something like this http://www.geocities.com/workshopx/nciv1.jpg If that link doesn't work from here, the page is http://www.geocities.com/workshopx/1.html ...Yeah, I know. ...nasty civic. It's a good example of a good hood scoop. |

OK how in the world did he fit this?!?!?!  cuz I wanna be the next one with it! |
the hood vents or the bumper?
the hood gets cut and the vents go in... the bumper upper grille gets cut and the bumper goes on... there's no real mystery, just the cutting down of the upper grill to fit the sloped hood. |

Originally posted by PseudoRealityX If you have a 94, you should look at getting the REAL piece....IMO but you can get the vents an install them on your current car's hood |

I wonder if the front spoiler (044TAMABG1 front spoiler (blue car) 234) would fit a US front bumper? If not I would go w/ the jspec :p |
