hood

I had a cougar scratch the **** out of my hood 2 weeks after i got the car. I've had it a year now and Still have not fixed it. I wanted to take it to a custom body shop and have some kind of hood scoop put in. I've seen a few carbon fiber hoods for $500 and $1200. Any Suggestions??

a cougar?!? as in the big cat? where the hell were you!?

APC makes a sweet carbon fiber hood with a "W" type pattern in it. fiber images makes a stock replacement carbon fiber one, too. those two are probably going to be the least expensive for you, both running about $500-600. (and the APC one can be had from autozone or pep boys)

yep the BIG cat. I live in texas about an hour south of dallas, out in the county. They are around, i'll try to get a pic on here asap. It looks like it just got up on my car to look around and when it came down, it draged its paw alongthe side of my hood, happened on two different nights in a row, I'm come out the next morning and there would be a new set of marks. I was pissed. Thanks for the help!!
