Hid bulbs in Halogen optics, will cause a lot of glaire,
Not true. The HID that our P5 owner has in our club, has NO glare whatsoever. You'll get more from those fake lights, then he has on his HID's.

Its all about how they are angled and installed, if its done right, you'll have no problems. He's gone thru several roadchecks, with no problems.

ANY HID "system" that costs a few hundred bucks is illegal, and I seriously hope that anyone who installs them gets ticketed for them. I have been the unfortunate victim of several of these yahoo rig-it-up-throw-the-brightest-beam-wherever HID systems - they are BLINDING. And it's just plain dangerous.

As I mentioned above.

But I do UNDERSTAND where you are coming from. There are a lot of people out there who DO NOT know how to install, and that is the KEY point here. If they are installed properly, there should be no problems.

I was driving infront of the owner with the HID lights, and it was raining (which makes light glare more easily of the roads) and I had NO problems with blinding. Hell I get more blinding from damn S2000's, and X5's than I did from his car.
