I saw some cars with 6X9 speakers. I have a 93 Lx. is there any way i can install them. if so is there any modification involved. right now it has 5 1/4 in them

Don't try to put 6x9's where they're not supposed to be!

I'm assuming you're talking about the rear speakers, 6.5 inch speakers will fit and work just fine for you I don't know if there is a factory adapter or not as my car already came with a ghetto system when I bought it. But if there is you just need to take it out. You will probably need to drill new holes to be able to secure 6.5" speakers down.
