Has anyone upgraded their Alternator on a P5?

Hah, those sound like some good tracks. Ya, since I listen to everything, I'll have several test tunes from different genres. Doesn't hurt to "test" too much!

Ya, I'll be going with a single 12" so the SVC should be fine. I doubt i'll ever go higher.. I'd rather keep the trunk space. Speaking of which.. I now need to find out if these amps can fit under our seats.. and need to find a good place for the power distr. block.

Anyone know if the US acoustics "USX" series amps can use 4 gauge power/ground?? Their tech sheets dont mention the limit of gauge.. all they say is use "atleast" 8gauge power/ground.. so maybe they do? I want to be sure.

4 gauge from the battery to a dist block, and then 8 gauge to the amps should be more than sufficient. Same thing with the grounds.

Why not see if the website for those amps has any info - often they have the user manuals in PDF format.
