Getting dash kit, need some help.

I'm about to get Mazda's aluminum/carbon fiber dash kit, the thing is that my car's A/C controls are a litle different, in the P5 you have a button that switches between "recycling" the air inside of the car or using the air outside. But in my car it's like a lever instead, I don't know what it's called, here's a pic in case you didn't uderstand what I described:pic . will it fit?

I asume the kit doesn't come with the A/C controls.

Your pic is not showing - I can't see it thru the link.

It's possible that the opening is the same size as out big button, only you have a slider instead. Get the pic working and we'll see what we can come up with.

In the meantime, please let me know what you get the kit! I would really like to buy a few pieces (not YOUR pieces, though - read on, but every place I talk to ONLY sells replacements to previous customers. So if possible, maybe you'd be able to order some "replacements" for me, and I would pay you for them, plus shipping, and maybe some extra loot for the effort.

Get that pic working!

Looks like it will work fine to me.

Compare this pic:

To your car:

Looks to me like the design and openings are the same.

Good luck!

Check any hardware store that sells paint supplies. That stuff is used all the time by painters to mask things off - you are right, it leaves no residue and peels of easily.

Regular masking tape can work just as well for sure, but the blue stuff is nearly idiot-proof. The adhesive is perfect, and it barely ever tears or leaves residue when removed from ANY surface, not just plastic.

Either one is a good idea to avoid scratching the trim.
