Question gauge pods

Does n e one know if someone makes a gauge pod that fits in the din slot (where a cd player goes)? I was thinking about doing a custom install there, but if a compant makes one I may juss buy that, otherwise ill juss go with the A pillar triple gauge pod. If n e one knows where to get one cheap lemme know. Thanks

I think if you go with a single DIN deck, and buy a Schoshe (Spelling?)stereo install kit, there will be a fill panel that fits below the deck. It would be easy to cut out the holes in the fill panel with an exacto or something, and pop the guages into place. That said, I have not measured the height of a DIN-sized opening, and you will need at minimum 2 1/16" of material to accomodate the diameters of most mini guages.

I have thought about this many times, but love my stock 6-disc in dash changer to much to part with it. I think it would make a really cool project, though, and probably others on the forum would love to hear your results.

That's a neat idea, although I already have 'stuff' in my second DIN location.

My friend has LOTS of gauges in his Focus, in a gauge pillar and here on the passenger side dash:

(the little hole you see in the dash on the right side is the location of gauge #4)
