Mazda + Ipod

Has anyone had any experience with the Dension Ice link?
For those of you who aren't aware, Dension has made a device called the Ice Link that connects an Ipod to your stock deck. Using the car's power it charges the Ipod as well as allows you to control you ipod using your stock deck controls. And about a month ago I received an email from Dension informing me that they now have the unit for Mazdas.

I've read on some other threads that other similar devices have fried stock radios, and was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with such devices? If not Alpine, here I come!

Thanks

I haven't tried it but it looks sweet.. I have mine plugged in through my stereo it has an RCA / AUX out. So i was lucky.
Picked up a stand for a PDA and it fits in, right next to my shifter.

I have had the neo ion in my car for awhile now. I know that www.mp3yourcar.com has had iPod adapters that work with Mazda’s for awhile now. I am very happy with mine and it sounds so clean. My friend has the itrip in his Mustang and it is horrible. Really the only way to go if you to have an iPod in your car is to use a adapter that hooks to the actual head unit.

We sell the PIE adapter for the Mazda,, you can use that to get the Pie Audio into your HU.. IF your HU is firmware ver 9.55 or higher. I can Upgrade your HU if not but you have to remove it and send it to me.

I might be confused, but what does your PIE AUDIO and HU have to do with an IPOD? And your car stereo??

the PIE box allows you to add any device that has RCA outputs. SO you get a Clean Line level input into you HU. The PIE MAZ/PC-alp and the ALP/RCA will allow this to work on the Mazda 3, Mazda 6, Rx8.
