Fog Light Electrical Issues

Hi Everyone,
I seem to be having some issues on finding the right source to tap into for the positive line. Well Initially I follow the step that was posted from here http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=19719 and I thought it worked fine, but I realize that the tapped line is getting extremely hot. I'm positive that this line will eventually get fried. I'm not a electrician, but I know when something is way to hot to be tapped. Anyways, I decided to go tap my parking light from the turn signal up front where the bumper is; that was a big mistake. I've done that on a few other cars and it work fine, but not for the mazda3 that I have. So I replaced the fuse and looked around and happen to notice the cigar fuse. Could I tap into that? the fuse is a 20amp so I figure it should be enough to power foglights without stressing the line. O, the first initial was tapped from the dimmer switch as posted from above link.

I know that the lights will come on when I turn the key, but will it fry the line in times?

Also after trial and error; I have decided to eliminate the switch and do a straight tap from the fog fuse under the hood to the the cigar fuse from the glove box. Just a little concern about it. I guess I should carry a fire exst. around just in case.

Any adviced is greatly appreciated

If you need power, look at the fusebox in the engine bay - or find an unused fuse location that is supposed to use a 20A or higher fuse.
