Well, finally everything gives out. to start, everything on the interior wiring is stock. i have an aftermarket harness for my radio w/ a 10 gauge amp wiring kit to the head unit. i have fog lights hooked up under the dash and i have a disconnected amp kit that is no longer in use. now, my problem is that every fuse in my car keeps blowing, my power door locks don't work, the fogs don't work, the radio doesn't work, the interior lights don't work as well as the clock. the cluster lights up, and the windows work fine... and the cigarette lighter works. why is it that everything is so inter-connected that when you replace one fuse, something else decides to skip town on me. this is a strange confusing of problems that i'll have to look at in the morning, just wanted to throw this idea at you guys to see what you might think... thanks

i have the most annoying electrical problem right now too. its not similar to yours. i gave up and the cars at the mechanics as we speak.

ah, **** this post, for some reason, by splicing an additional power source into the aftermarket stereo harness, and having a fuse on it, if something along the lines on that cable shorts out, everything goes dead (door locks, radio, interior lights). **** happened to me when my horn pad wore out, i panicked and cut the cable to the horn, inadvertantly shorting out the fuse for the horn.. which didn't matter **** to me. but low and behold, i get in the car and the shifter is stuck, won't move an inch, my rear brake lights aren't working. so without brake lights and no shifting going on, i had to use the over-ride for the brake shift interlock. EVERYTHING in my car is interconnected, it sucks...oh well.

i beleve but dont quote me on this but the same fuse for the horn is the one for the rear brakes too,

and again dont quote me on this but i think that the same current of power that lights the brakes up is also connected to the tranny so it knows that you have your foot on the pedal so you can shift, a safty feature
