SO I WAS CLEANING THE INTERIOR OF MY CAR THE OTHER DAY, AND HAD THE IDEA TO THROW MY FLOOR MATS INTO THE WASHING MACHINE TO GET THEM CLEAN.

ANYBODY ELSE DONE THIS? COULD I RUIN THE MATS? THE SEEM PRETTY STURDY AND LOOK LIKE THEY BE ABLE TO HANDLE A QUICK WASH..........

OPINIONS AND COMMENTS ARE APRECIATED

I actually take soapy water and scrub my carpets in the driveway with a brush. Takes a bunch of dirt and grime outta the mats.

or u can get a steam/carpet cleaner, which my parents have one that i use, it also does an execelent job on the mats!

I would think the Washer idea would be bad, but who knows. I'd stick with cleaning them with a little green machine or something.

Works the best!

Hang them up at the car wash and blast them with hot water. You'll gross yourself out when all that black water starts coming out. Then take them to a laundry mat and dry them for a couple quarters and voila!
