yes because if u look at the bulb very carefully u can see that the part closest to the plug is NOT covered with the blue coat

and lots of the light still comes out there and is reflected back forwards..... bend up the covers that stop the GOOD blue light from shining stright.... bend it about one inch up....
this will give u a complete blue look and better night view when cornering

My manual didn't say what kinda bulbs are in my MP5 either, sorry bro, just the wattage for each light....I had to ask the parts dept at Mazda but then decided why change the stock lights since they look so bright, anytime i put rice blue headlights in, my nighttime vision sucked ***....stay stock

now now, I ain't sticking up for anyone, but please help fellow drivers, don't abuse em.

Look, if you are looking for the best White/Blue Bulb it is this here.

The "PIAA Super Extreme White", it is a 4200K H4 Bulb. 55/60W with 125/130 W Output

It should fit in your car fine. Also match em up with PIAA Exteme White Wedge globes, these are the other small bulbs that fit in. I ain't a sales man, but we are all here to help, and I did it to my car, and it is not HID, but it still looks fantastic.

Here is Piaa's Link.

actually PIAA haven't updated the web site for the H4, they do have the wedge globes though, it is "Part Number: 19172 "

But try this web site for the new main H4 globes

headlights

Actually the manual for the 01 ES doesnt list the part number for the foglight, doesnt even refer to the ES having a foglight. It isnt h4 though, I bought the H4 and no luck. Stuck trying to figure out what size they are right now. I tried asking a couple dealers if they could find it and they also said their manual or "catalog" doesnt list the protege having foglights except on the 5 door... So cant we all just get along?

Lightbulb For 1999-2000 Factory Stock Foglights

There is no part number in the manual that states what bulbs are for the foglights...
The best action is to take out a bulb and get the part number, which is....

a GE 896, it is kind of non-standard to most cars using H3 bulbs

it is a 37 watt bulb GE896

For some white HID look,
eautoworks.com are selling these bulbs at:
