Engine Noise in Tweeter

I recently installed some infinity component speakers in my doors... For some reason I am getting engine noise (whistling when I rev) from my front left tweeter... When this happened the first time, I took the door apart and taped up the connection on the tweeter and it took care of the noise. Now, however, the noise is back, and I can't think of any other reason for it to be picking up interference. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Got any bare connections along the way to it? Or power wires running next to an audio wire?

Try switching the left/right front input connections at the amp. Did the noise 'move'?

Try it and report back.

Yeah, I've been going at it for a few days now, I'll try switching the amp wires... As far as bare wires, in the course of trying to fix it, I have electrical taped every connection down the entire wire. I'll report back tonight on switching the sides. Thanks for the help

Well, I discovered the problem... Bad 4 channel amp. It really pisses me off since it is brand new. I pretty much figured it out by hooking up my roommate's 4 channel Alpine, and it being crystal clear... Now I have to send mine in and wait for a replacement.
