Question E-brake handle

i would like to replance my ebrake handle with an after market one but im not sure on how to reomve the stock one,does ne1 know how to take off the stock one?

I tried to do it too w/ a handle from Ractive..

First off, the button is square and most of the aftermarket ones are round and too small to fit. Second, the ebrake handle is all one piece and would need to be cut..or so the shop tells me(which was prbbly true). So you can cut the old one off w/ a really sharp knife or shears. Then you'd need to custom fit a boot or else the handle would look ugly w/ all that metal sticking out.
