Question Decal Placement.

Where would you guys recommend placing decals that you have. I have two so far (B & M and and dj company that I work with) and am not sure what I should do with them. I have a midnight blue P5 and 5% tint on the back windows. Both decals are black and about 3" high by 6" wide. Where would you guys put them. I have seen some pics of decals on body work and it looks pretty good but I think I would be a poser at this point. Please ship some advice out to me or at least tell me where your pretty decals are located. Thanks.

me personally I would put them on the very back windows...but I would have to have them on both sides, just for equalness...but since the decals are black...I have no clue on where you could put them...even if you put them on your vehicles body, I don't think they will show up too good being that you have the midnight blue vehicle

I would shy away from placing any stickers/decals on my car, unless they very very unique. I placed my B & M decal inside the front hood lid. I located the decal in the area where there is NO sound material. It looks ok.

Later, Speedbump.

Just a thought - but is there any way for you to get copies of the decals in white or another light color? Then you could lay down the white one, and put the black on top of it, slightly off-center, for a "3D" effect (sort of).

Black on that blue or on dark windows just ain't gonna show too well.

I really like speedbump's idea, that is low key and tasteful, and when someone looks under the hood they see it. That one is a go I think.

Well, I totally agree that low-key is the way to go - but I've learned that not everyone feels that way, so better to try to help rather than do the "WTF are u gonna put stickers all over your ride for.." thing.

Only "decals" on my car are static-cling vinyl on the inside of the windows - a little kokpelli above the rearveiw mirror on the windshield, and a small tree in the back window above the wiper mount (representing for Days of the New - rock on!).

The only other "decals" I have considered are the "MP5" badges - I have two of them, but haven't been able to decide if and/or where I want them on the car.

Low-key all the way.

In the trash, unless they are paying you to advertise for them.

put them on your computer tower unless the company is paying you or you just like stickers. I think a few stickers are ok, but i would only put em on the windows as they some easisly.

I'm the same way with the MP5 badges, but I'll probably put one on the hatch at some point.

On those static ones, take the one from the back window out every once in a while - I had one that seemed to have something start growing under it, probably living off of whatever it could suck out of the rear defroster lines.
