well, i had some free time the other morning, and in thinking about this thread painting i decided to do a little paint work.

in case you can't tell, i painted my key fob to match my emblems:



if i ever get a round tuit, i will paint the center radio/ac console to match this color and the shifter surround, also.

 

it's really hard to tell through this pic man....it still looks black to me....

 

i'll take a better pic tonight next to the spare so you can really see the difference.

 

Well, I am happy I inspired someone to do something a little different. I like the gunmetal finish with the black car. Good job.

do you guys think that from constant use the paint would wear off the fob?? I find my fob gets knocked around and rubs up against a ton of stuff.. I'd love to paint mine to match, but if it was gonna come off before too long I don't think i would..

 

that's kind of why i left one plain.

 

That is why I used a couple of good coats of clear on mine. They seem to be holding up pretty well so far. And if it does come off eventually, I can just repaint them!
