i don't mean to rehash any old flames, but i know carbon fiber has significant weight savings from the stock hood, from experience can anybody tell a difference in the cornering, acceleration, and such? from people who have or had carbon fiber hoods, which brand do you have and why did you choose it? any issues with fitment or quality or returns/warranty? i will probably paint the hood to match the body since i dont want to be labeled as "rice", are there any drawbacks or things i should look out for before painting carbon fiber products? i like the idea of saving weight, but i also like the idea of discreet upgrades. thanks.

on a site note: has anybody seen the carbon fiber roof of the new bmw m6?
