Body kit life spans?

I am looking seriously into getting a Wings West kit for my pro, but I want to know if its going to get totally ratched in the winter. (Canada) I mean, there can sometimes be deep snow and extremely cold weather.

Basically I wanna know if a kit like this is able to stand up to the same conditions as the stock body parts. If it can, then no probs.

Oh yeah.. I don't plan on lowering for a while.

I don't go through any bad weather in Tennessee like you do in Canada. If the kit is at risk for damage, just put the stock bumpers back on during the winter.

Oh btw, don't get the WW kit. There are so many better looking kits for the Protege.

I know there are better LOOKING kits, but the Wings West is high quality stuff. Which goes back to the winter use. I have been considering the Squall and Evo kits, cuz the Erebuni kits kinda bore me (tho they too look high quality; I'd get the shogun in a second if they had it for the 2k2), but the squal and evo1 kit both look kinda cheaply made.

I dunno.. maybe its not worth the aggro... perhaps I should just stick to engine bolt ons and junk...

NE1 have opinions on this?

Where did you get info on these? So far I have only seen the mint blue, onderground, erebuni, which suck compared to WW, in my opinion.

I'm getting the WW kit for my P5. You get what you pay for, and it should be fine in our winters here.

Thats what I was thinking. I'll probably go for the Wings west kit. Makes it MP3ish. Which I dig.. so there. hehe

Mxy The Squal IS the onderground kit, and the evo 1 is made by... uhh.. I forget, I have only seen it at

I'm not sure where to get it from because I'm getting it through insurance after my car was wrecked. See pics and story here.
