First off, not to be mean or anything but, do anything but white out the taillights, they look ridiculouse. Secondly, whoever owns that protege should themselves for being a retard and putting a type-R badge in the back like that, were they thinking?

Thats' great, at least I can go over speed bumps without scratching my bumper.
Sorry, back on topic. I really don't think bleaching your taillights would do anything but give it a bad smell . And I agree with Vindication, that looks awful.

So, now that we've got the cussing out of the way, let's help this guy out with his original question.
I've never heard of bleaching the lights before. I didn't think it was possible, due to the fact that the lights are molded in the red color of plastic. Have you got more info on this technique I could read up on?
If You're really into that look, I'm sure you'd be better off with some Altezzas. That looks like it'll yellow in a heartbeat!

ok...you said I would be better off with Altezzas. Well do you know where I can get some from??? Cause they don't make any for the 2nd gen. Also I was just trying to see how hard it is to get those lights and if this technique was a real thing or not. I'm probably just going to paint the middle part and just have the light on the sides!!!! That was what I had intended to do from the begining. My friend did it to his sunfire and it looks tight.

Okay, Okay!! I'll be the only one with a different opinion. I kinda like the bleach look. DON'T SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE IT WON'T CHANGE MY MIND My friend was thinking of doing the same thing with his G2. He went searching around and said that some body shops do them, just gotta find the right one. I told my friend the lights from CORKSPORT.com looks better, but he doesn't think so. And don't worry about smell. They air it out, of course.
BTW, all other members Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me
I like being different.

Why do you want to get them? Do you really want to get pulled over every few minutes?
