Back tint is going

My back tint is bubbling and there is no warranty on the tint. DAMN! Anyways do you guys suggest I take off the tint myself and then get it redone or just have it done by someone else? How much would it cost to get just once back window retinted? I dont feel like doin all the work of peeling off that damn tint

If you have a rear window defroster its going to be a PITA! You will have to be very careful at scraping the tint off or you will screw up the defroster. If you do have the defroster I would suggest trying to take the tent off yourself because it will save tons on labor! Just be careful not to screw up the defroster. It shouldn't cost you too much to get just one window done.

It's pretty easy. Just use alcohol and some steel wool.

For the future, when you get that back window tinted again, don't use shitty tint. The tint should last alot longer than a few years. I have Lumar Centar and it has not bubbled once in over two years.

Agreed, if you have rear defrost, you are going to have a time with it. Also, if tinted (not saying you did this), but you aren't supposed to use rear defrost any way for so many weeks. Good luck!

how come the tint did not come with warranty
usually they all come with warranty, plus the
type of tint back then is probably poorer quality
what is now available

I would save my self trouble and hassale and get the back
window done again, not gonna cost more than $100
because the labor for taking it off is going to be more than putting it back on

Nope, Im kinda broke right now cuz I dont work that much anymore cuz of school. More then likely I will have to take it off myself and take it somewhere to get it retinited. Im pretty sure anywhere I take it they will charge a rediculous amount of money to take it off.
