Audio GURUs help please.

I am about to start an upgrade of my audio in my 1st gen Protege LX.

I have the 6disk indash changer out of a miata for the head unit (supposed to put out 190w but some miata owners who have made the swap doubt that)

I will be putting an infinity basslink in the trunk.

and I will be replacing the Front door speakers and rear deck speakers with Cadence speakers.

After reading all the posts and listening to speakers this the path I have chosen.

My questions are:

Which Cadence speakers are the right ones for my application, I chose Cadence because I have clearence issues in the front doors and they sound good but I am still unsure which model to buy. (a modle # would help)

Does anyone know where I can get these online?

I will be running all new wire, what guage wire should I run for my speakers?

Any tips on system install (wire running, speaker mounting, etc...)

I chose this route because I want everything to look stock.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

www.nexxon.com sells Cadence along with many many other brands...

Also on CarAudioForum.com theres a user named sandt38 and hes is an authorized Cadence seller...

I cant really tell you what size would be best, although I would just get coaxials (2 way) unless you want to get a 2 way component system (midbass and tweeter) and cut an extra hole in your door panal for the tweeter...

I guess anywhere between 4" and 6.5" would be your best bet, but only the 6.5" wil produce the best midbass response.

As for rewiring that really isnt necessary but if you must 16 awg wire will do fine.

Cadence is a great company for quality. personally, if you're getting a good deal, four 6 1/2 inch coaxials should do fine for you. eitherwise, i'd recommend the Cadence ZXN6K's listed on that site... you might want to find the clearance on those, but they'd produce a nice sound... either that or the ZXN5K's if you're worried about clearance. they're neodynium magnets, so i can't perceive the 6 1/2's being and issue for you. i don't know, find any pioneer, infinity, boston, or polk component or coaxials that have the clearance, i forget the clearance on our doors to tell you the truth, 1 11/16ths i think, could be 2 1/16's.
you can run 14 or 16 gauge wiring to each speaker fairly easily to the front i would imagine, the rears through the door sills of the car and can be hidden very well.
peace
