You could probably cut the shifter rod yourself. Actually, you definitely could - it's just a matter of doing it.

I would think a reciprocating saw (Sawzall) with a fine-tooth blade could cut through it without too much trouble.

Dunno if you're willing to go through all that, though.

I'm not really considering any shift ***** right now - nothing really strikes my fancy, you know? That Razo is the only **** I think I have ever seen with the O/D button, though there may be others out there.

I'd love to get one from Crutchfield - they sell that crazy shift **** that has stereo buttons on it - you program the buttons with your stereo remote, and then the ****'s buttons control the deck. Sweet - but it's kinda ugly, IMHO. A nice idea, but they'd need to make one better looking before I'd buy it - and right now it is only for manual trannies anyway:

Only one person out of like 5 ridiculed you personally. Everyone else(including myself) was just laughing at the funny pic.(You gotta admit, it does look like an electric shaver.)

Obx racing makes one also, I also have an auto it was my mom's car and then she did'nt want it so I got stuck with it I told her before she bought any car to make it a stick, but she did the opposite so I'am stuck w/ it now. However I do thing anything is better than the stock piece of **** shifter that is stock on all proteges.

Anyway here is a good thread that is on another board it should be quiet helpful and there are some nice looking pics of people that have done this mod w/ other shifters.

Here is the thread look through the whole thing.
