I gotta stop reading your posts. The pic of that shift **** made me wince. It looks like a really cheap PC joystick. I highly doubt anyone in here has it. Also, why do you care what it feels like? It's obviously for an automatic, and how often do you shift an automatic? Twice per trip?

haha that thing is rediculous. its a car, not a computer...so theres no need for a joystick. a moderator should close this post.

i cant remember, but the AT require that button up top?

if not, you should be able to find all sorts of ***** thatll
fit your car. not that im saying that that ****'ll suck or
anything, but i have a Razo height adjustable **** on
my 98 prelude which is also a sport-shift type AT and it
doesnt have any buttons. the stroke is short and very
cool.

first off Hello ReMuXieD and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

SECOND OF ALL.....I AGREE WITH YOU!! Come on guys....is that any way to treat a fellow member? Didn't your mother ever tell you...."if you don't have anything nice to say.....don't say anything".

A simple NO would have done the trick.....no need to run anyone down for their tastes.

Ha ha...... I guess you need a joystick since my car has a wing on the rear. No?

that is what intrigued me and hence I popped the question.

But some folks think that if they dont like it , it must be a piece of ****.

I fail to understand how can sombeody be so blind in raising their opinions. As if their likes and dislikes changes the world.....

Anyway, pictures do not always potray reality and hence wanted somebody to give their opinion, if they have used it. How does it look and feel in relaity. Does it suit the interior of the Protege?

Honestly, the only car interior I can see this **** inside would have to be the Cadillac CTS and even there it would have to be as a detachable razor in the Eddie Bauer/Remington edition CTS. Why would you get offended by other people ridiculing the ****? Who cares? If you designed the ****, or if you put the **** in your car then I could understand. Even then it's not like people are making fun of your nose. It's just a poorly conceived aftermarket hunk of plastic that would lower the resale value of your car by hundreds of dollars.

Say what you will - I think that **** looks sweet as hell, especially compared to the ugly, bulky thing that comes in the automatic Proteges.

And don't give me **** about having an auto. I bought my P5 before almost everyone on this board, and I couldn't even get a stick at that time - there just weren't any around, and no dealer could get me one. I needed the car, and got what I could get.

Anyway - the other thing about that Razo **** is that it has the integrated overdrive button, which is very rare in auto *****. Not everyone wants to relocate the O/D button, though I have considered it to buy a different shifter, because that Razo is frigging expensive - $90+ for that shifter.

Personally, I like it. My only other concern for you, chikoo, is the height of the stock shifter. Without cutting the shifter lever down, that **** is going to be sticking up pretty far, I believe. Before buying one, I would investigate how to cut down the metal shifter rod. If you could get that Razo to sit almost all the way down to the console, I think it'd look kick-***.

So there . I got your back on this one, chikoo.

^perfect! lol
