Hey everyone. im getting a marksman m5 alarm put in and i want to hook the siren up to a switch so if i flip the switch in my car it will turn on and have the switch mounted somewhere to the left of the steering wheel. How can i do this? i dont want it to trigger anything except to simply make the alarm siren noise. I want it to be able to use it while driving n stuff too. any ideas? i dont want to have another seprate alarm brain and siren just for it. thanks. peace

 

If the alarm uses a POSITIVE siren trigger, Wire the switch to a relay, have the relay send a POSITIVE signal to the alarms siren wire. thats it.

If the alarm uses a NEGATIVE siren trigger, Wire the switch to a relay, have the relay send a NEGATIVE signal to the alarms siren wire. thats it.
