Aftermarket Seats

One of the few complaints i have about my nice 5 month old P5 is that the drivers seat isn't terribly comfortable. Unless you have the seat at just the right angle it will make your back sore fairly quickly. And even at the right angle it will make your back sore after 4 hours or so.

A few weeks ago i had a chance to sit in a WRX and behold the sexy-love-magic that are in that car and i have decided i want, no... NEED more comfortable seats.

A quick search revealed www.seats4cars.com which seems to sell only corbeau seats. I know recaro makes some as well, and i am sure there are more seat making companies out there. I am not interested in race-style seats, just a more normal looking seat with a headrest and all that. The GTS II looks nice and doesn't seem outrageously priced. Same with the "sport seat" on the same website.

The other thing i am actually concerned about if i do get a new drivers seat (who cares about the passengers, i hardly ever have any) is how to mount it. I would prefer not having to make some homemade bracket adapter thing to get it to fit as i don't trust my own workmanship if i were to get in an accident. Would Seat brackets from another Gen Pro fit or are they different measurements?

So... does anyone have any suggestions on good seats to look at or any other useful advice on this subject? And where can i go to actually sit in one?

(note: i am not looking for racing seats. just seats that at a glance look similar to the stock ones, only much more comfortable.)
