take out the amber blinker

Hello all.. I just took my amber lights out of the rear lights. i thought it would be really hard after i pushed in the amber peace agenst the bottom, i thought i was dead here was my procedure.
Tools:
* Drill with a hole boaring tip
* Needle nose Pliers
* hook tool (baught a set of stanly tools at walmart for $3.00)
*saved my life*
* exra set of hands if possible

When i started i tryed pushing down on the amber plastic hard with the drill... trust me, its hard to do with out pushing the lense down agenst the clear lense. well i pushed it through.

I took the hook tool that just was the best thing in the world. It was so sharp it actually punctured a little hole in the amber lense so i could lift it up and drill numerous holes that weakens the amber peace. i just pulled and broke the amber peace into many peaces and pulled them out.

I had some problems before just because the hole was very small, the hook was a great investment, and i know can be used for many things..

the big peaces could be broken down to smaller peaces by using your fingers or the needle nose plyers... It took me a while because i was taking my time... the ideal way would to probibly use the sodering iron to cut right through it but, i couldent get ahold of one... The clear lens does not scratch that easy but will scratch... its an easy mod all and all though... well worth it.. I will post pics tomarrow of my car all pimped out... Tres Dos Tres 4 Life my friends... long live mazda
