Lightbulb 1st gen JDM clear corners on ebay!!!

Check these out, there going for $85.00, they sure do look sweet. It says they are for the 90-93 323/protege. Does that include the 94 protege since the 94 had the front redone to look like the 323?

JDM ??? How did you figure that out? You are a little late, but we had a group buy for these. Here's the 16 page thread for your enjoyment
http://www.protegeclub.com/forum/sho...threadid=21478

And yes, they'll fit a '94 Pro as well.

Haha, JDM? You mean "JDM look" - it says they're custom made. This is the same guy that made them for the group buy right?

It says "JDM Look" on the ebay auction, so i put -JDM- down to get your guys attention, ...which it did..., and i already knew about the "group buy" for these when the thread first started, but some people would rather spend that money somewhere else, for instance my crx. My clear corners for my crx only cost me $28.00 altogether. $85.00 is outrageous for clear corners.

Why get our attention when we already know about it?
I wouldn't say the price is outrageous. Please don't compare the cost of CRX parts with the Protege. These were custom made and there's probably no more than 20 sets in the whole world. Now which is more original: your $28 CRX corners or my $85 Protege corners?

NOT your attention, i was trying to get the attention of people who do not know about the group buy, so they could easily just go and buy these on ebay. i'm just tryin to help some of the newbies. i'm not tryin to start an argument. original is the way it should be, yet me having a crx is a lot harder to be original with because of all these people who see your car, then go and run and put that freakin part on they're car. thats the only thing that sucks about having a honda, because if you got it, you know that another 1000 people probally have it too.

I am not trying to start an argument either. It's just when you JDM some people might actually think that this is an imported Japanese part, which it's not. As for the Honda thing, I know exactly what you're talking about. After all, maybe you should not have given the Protege to your girlfriend.

$85? Thats a steal. My AUTHENTIC JDM corners are $100 a set. My one broke in an accident so I had to dish out ANOTHER $100 (USD too) for another set.

look at the pic of my car in my profile, personally, it's a cleaner look than stock. yeah, they might leak, but that's not something you can't fix yourself. feeling like i paid $85 bucks for a piece of plastic that i'd never have another chance to buy...well, could have been spent more wisely on something else, but then again, you could have spent your money more wisely then painting your car orange? well, it's the price of originality... i mean, i've gotta be the only idiot on this club that installed a 6 1/2" speaker in the rear seat armrest in a first gen protege (not working anymore on any account). i'm sure that there are plenty of idiots on here that pay sums of money to do something completely original to their car. but it's a matter of personal taste bud, you like the look of your paint job, hell, i would too if i could afford an orange paint job. remember, by raw definition, if it has been done before, IT'S NOT original. leave it at that.
peace

I would have gone in on the groupbuy if it were'nt for the extra costs of getting them over to Canada...

There's a guy around here that says he might be able to do them, so I'm going to look into that... If I have them made, I'm going to go with a chrome housing too... to make them match the headlights better..... But I keep getting fix-it tickets, so I'm going to keep the lights as stock as possible for the moment....

thanks jeremy, it's not spick-n-span type of clean operation, the appearance of the car from far away is awesome... but up to about 5 feet from the car, you can see some paint damage on the drivers side door, the drivers fender needs a new paint job, and the hood is bent. basically just gonna throw a hood mask on the hood to cover that off, fix my latch and take off my hood pins. eventually, i'm going to look into just getting a brand new hood or getting mine fixed, then getting both that and the fender painted at once. aside from that, thanks bud.

and bizob, you have one of the hottest kit's i've seen on any first gen. my question to you is what are these fix-it tickets you're talking about? just wondering.
peace
