Thumbs up RX-7 Clear Corners

ot my RX-7 Clear corners on today. Over all they work well, had to cut the lens backing some and had to cut the bumper a little bit. (Wish I knew where my dad's dremel was). Got them off e-bay. Something like $30. Here's the pics. I'm going to get some thicker rubber trim to go around them to hide the gap.

I just wanted to get them done before it was supposed to start storming. I plan on going back and cleaning them up a bit later.

Two questions:

What size bulb does the new socket use?

And what's with the gap in the black gasket (?) on the TOP of each light?

They use the same bulb. In my original post I mention what was with the gap.

Are you talking about the gap between the light and the bumper, or what looks like a break in the gasket itself? ( I was wondering about the break)

I found some trim that will work perfectly. Just have to find some epoxy or something to hold it on there with. For those that care it's that black door trim that ppl put on the edges of their car door. Any suggestions for what epoxy to use? It'll post pics when I get back home tomorrow and get it put on. From just placing it on there it looks like it will be perfect.

That's exactly what I've been wanting to do for the past year! Good job. Was the work difficult? I'd like to give it a try when the weather warms up some more here.

Oh, and I don't know if it's just me or not... but your links to the finished pics don't seem to be working...

Sorry, Links fixed.

It was a peice of cake. Took about 30min max. That's without having a dremel. Had to use a damn coping saw.

A saw?!? I'm not sure if I'm co-ordinated enough to be cutting into my cars body. But I do have a dremel...

Thanks!
