The Miata group is still planning to come up after heading down to Performance Buyers Club.
I recognize a few of you guys from the dyno day at EIP Tuning a few months back, so you may recognize a few of our Miatas too. I was the guy with the red Miata that was from Speedoptions (if anyone cares or remembers...).
In any event, we're looking forward to the event, and are hoping to have quite a few Miatas to show off. Mine, unfortunately, will be dirty as hell.

the organizer (MTM aka Dominick) left early to go to the Import Expression meet in Fairfax VA, a lot of people followed him and got lost, and the rest that stayed probably just went home.
sorry you guys missed it, it was a nice turnout, would've been nicer if you guys had come at around 1 instead of 3:45...

That's bullshit. Plain and simple. Dominick knew we were showing up late. The fact that the "show" lasts less than 3 hours and then the promoters bail when they get bored is NOT the way to run a show.
You made the Miata group (all 16 of us) look like fools. You made some poor guy and his wife in an RX7 take off work early and drive 3 hours to find out the same thing. We drove an hour out of our way to attend your show, and you screwed us.
I can only hope that you learn by this poor experience, and can use it to put on better shows in the future.
But never, EVER, expect anything in the future from the CAR or PACE Miata clubs.

Well when I hear from "CHRISTIAN" that people are coming at 1 and i have miatas waiting it looks bad on me. and that quote does all the justice... 12 to whenever.... the group decision on going to the show was an idea... only to liven things up so when im given false information then thats not my fault

SWEET!! I don't have an accurate count right now, but I would guess maybe like 20 of us? Once I get a better idea of how many are coming and approximately what time we'll be there, I'll drop you a line and let you know.
We'll be at Performance Buyers Club in Chantilly, VA around 11:00, but I don't know how long we're planning to be there. For right now, I'd estimate us getting to the show a little after 1:00. Again, as I find out more definite info, I'll let you know.

Man you guys missed a sweet show .. too bad you didnt show up around 1:00 ... the trip down to VA was freaking gorgeous too... i have found that when you show up when things start .. they always work out better To all you guys that showed up late to an empty parking lot .. hell wasnt it a nice day to go cruising in groups
