The roads are literally completely covered in ice. Just from attempting to scrape ice off of my windshield, I slipped and fell on my a$$. But anyways, I was doing about 20mph and slid right off the road into some grass. But, to get in the grass, I ran sideways over a curb, one of those more rounded subdivision-type curves. Would this do any damage to my alignment, or am I alright? Thanks for taking your time to answer my question!

It wouldn't hurt to have it checked. Did you notice any wobbling or other abnormal activity when you drove away??

My house was only about 200 meters away and I went slow, so I won't be able to tell if anything is wrong for at least a few days, until this all clears up. Is there a test I can administer perhaps to test alignment? Or just drive it and feel the response?

I would have it checked ,you probly puy the tow in out . I hit a pot hole on I-81 going to Flordia earlier . The toe was 1.5 degress out .too much in . It doesn't take much to put the alignment out .

Alright, well if I can feel any pulling I will take it in for an alignment. Otherwise, if it is only slightly off and I cannot feel it, will it cause any harm or damage if I do not align for a while?

I would NOT just assume that it's OK if the car drives straight. Although this sort of incident sometimes doesn't affect the alignment, I would get it checked anyway, and you should also check the wheels, tires and suspension for damage. Hitting curbs will frequently bend wheels or hubs, damage the wheel bearings, tie rod ends and ball joints, and/or break belts in the tires.

First thing to do is to check the tires for unusual bumps or blisters and check the suspension components for looseness or binding. This stuff should be checked BEFORE you drive the car because a failure could cause a serious wreck.

Would it be possible for you to provide some things to look over for me before I start driving it again? I'd have no clue where to start inspecting for the suspension components that you listed...except the tires and wheels of course.
