Tein Suspension Installed!!!

You read right! I have my Tein Suspension! I installed it last night. When I took it of a little spin, my P5 never handled better! Best yet was it was set to it's softest setting. I will be posting pics soon! In case you were wondering, Tein did not release the coilover sespension yet! Hehehe!

That is awesome Dave

Wassup Dave,

Nice upgrade to your suspension. So far do you like the new suspension does it make noise or bounce at all? is it pretty close to the stock suspension? Sorry bro for so many questions. It was nice again meeting you in Waipahu on Sunday.

Congrats!

I'm really itchin' to lower my P5, but can't decided on what kind? How do you like your Tein's and how much (about )? Is the height adjustable? How soft is the ride, compared to factory? Thanks a lot!!

Sorry about that

Sorry guys that it took so long for me to post. I haven't checked this forum in a while.

slamprotege5: I had Ground Controls before and the Tein's can go just about as low as they could.

Protege5lava: I love um'!!! The car just feels so planted in turns. Yes they are height adjustable. As far as dampening, The spring rate is a little more then 2x stiffer then stock but when you set the dampening to it's softest setting (it is 24 way adjustable) it ride fairly comfortabley.

Chicken SOup: As I stated above the ride is stiffer but tolerable.

Overall I am very pleased with the suspension. And for the all so important price..... Well they will retail for about 1200 to 1400 dollars, but I got them for $700!!! They are from the prototype car but is basically the final product. What I have on my car is what they will be selling as soon as they finish production.
