TEIN SS Owners....couple of Q's
I just got my set of TEIN SS suspension yesterday (and a fellow TOProtege.com member). I plan to install them myself this weekend. Before I do, I wanted to know if you had any concerns or tips that you may have picked up during your install.
Secondly, I will be starting with the factory dampering settings, but was curious to know if you have changed yours? if so, what settings and how do you prefer your ride? What type of driving style do you have?

i dont have the SS on my pro5, but i do have the HA's on my other cars. one thing a lot of new users tend to not know is not to use an impact wrench on the shaft when you are mounting the strut tops on. the impact gun is known to damage the adjustable piston rods on the TEIN's. use hand tools for that.
otherwise, it should be straight forward, the install should be
pretty easy.
clockwise is to stiffen damp settings
ccw is to soften damp settings (dont go over 16 clicks).
use 12 -13 clicks from full hard to break them in 300-400miles. you need to get the air bubbles (from transit) out of the gas.

have you ever heard a kind of clicking noise coming out from what seems to be the suspension?? sounds like something's loose, but we know that we tightened everything to mazda + tein spec......
