stut bar for a 2000 lx 1.6L

Anybody know where i can get a strut tower brace for the front on a 2000 protege lx 1.6L. I have seen some but all require movement of stuff. I just want one that will fit without having to move anything around. I would love to use the mazdaspeed one but im not sure if it will fit on a 2000.

Thanks,
Matt

all te 3rd gen protege ones will fit, with minimal moddin, the mp3, and mazdaspeed ones require some washers to shim it a bit to work, but other then that it fits, i got one from ebay, fits perfect, just had to trim one of the brackets on the passanger side, and it fit.ill post pics if i can find them.

Trust me ebay is the way to go on this one it will assure that it fits. I got an ebay one im very happy with it.

Dont get the mp3/mazdaspeed one becuase they are made for the 2.0 engine and it sits lower. You would have had to shim up the bar to have it work.

me and goldpro had this arguement before...I like the OEM strut bar better, it does require shimming it up to fit, however the you wont notice the washers...however the ebay one is cheaper and correct fit to start...it's really up to you

lol yeah were not gonna get into that, the advantage of the OEM one is that its not adjustable, its made for the car, and is more then likely stiffer then the one from ebay, but the one from ebay is a good unit, its up to you.

Ebay bars

The ones that I am seeing on ebay are only like 10 bucks. Am I seeing things or is this for real. ebay
The other strut bars that I am finding are on corksport and there going for like 150 bucks. I hope im looking at the right stuff and if I am, I will probably go with the ebay.
