strut bar installation 'how to'

i just want to gauge some interest in a 'how to' ona mzda strut bar installation on a car with cruise control. if i get enough interest i will take tons of pictures of every part and nut that need to be turned, showing every single step that needs to be done in order to install the mazda accessory strut bar. i ordered one from mazdastuff.com and it should be here on wednesday. i am going to try and do the install later next week.

ok. some of you will probably say i took the easy way out, but i don't care.

so, i order my strut tower bar from mazdastuff.com, fully under the impression that it wouldn't come with installation instructions. well, i was wrong becuase it did. it came with official mazda instructions, complete with pictures and everything. so what i am going to do is this: go through with the installation, taking pictures and making notes to compare, then compile everything onto my cardomain page. i will give a complete update when i get it done. i may even post a link in the tech / how-to section.

Anyone who is mechenically incline should have no problem installing an OEM strut bar. I did mine in about 15 minutes with the cruise control. My problem was that Mazda did not send instructions with the kit. Oh well, still a pretty simple install.

sure y not?

I'm sure the installation won't be to hard but it would be help to alot of people. I think a how-to would be great.

I just got my strut bar from Mazdastuff. And though it did come with instructions, the pictures are of no help.

The instructions are fairly straight forward, and it seems easy enough. I just wish if they are going to send pictures, make them clear.

I thought it was only me with the anti-picture instructions

i also got the crappy instructions, then called mazda and they emailed me the instructions in pdf format. if you want them, PM me and i will send them off to you. i thought i might do a 'how-to' for those who didn't buy the kit, but bought all the parts and don't get instructions.

yeah, i didn't do the how-to (mostly because the mazda instructions were good enough) so you can all call me lazy.

however, i did update my cardomain page with some pictures. click the 'www' button below and check it out. (page 4)

There's an online PDF installation Hank told me about located here: (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mazdap...ower%20Bar.PDF) that's in full color and not crappy quality like the papers MazdaStuff.com sells you. It seems to cover everything pretty well.
