quick springs question

hi does anyone know anything about HKS springs? does it compare with H&R and Eibach? and if i purchase these, do i need to purchase anything else to drop my car? thanks !

I can't say how they compare....but as for the install. you don't HAVE to have anything else. Just time and patience. the standard spring install on a P5 will take you about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. even for a fisrt timer if you will get into the HOW TO and read up before just leaping into it blind....and haveing a friend to help would be nice too. although you can do it by yourself in that amount of time.

the only thing you SHOULD have, for safetys sake if nothing else...is a spring compressor to get the springs off the struts in a safe manner. check out AutoZone...you can rent them there for about $10....vs. buying them for about $40.
