Question on Fitment of MP3 strut tower Bar
Will the Strut Tower Bar kit on www.mazdastuff.com fit on my 2000 1.6 Protege. Link....

The guy said it only fit 2001-up, but I though people fit it on their 2000. Let me know

It will fit, but you will have to shim the bar upwards so it won't hit the throttle body on the 1.6L engine. Some folks on this list have dome this by adding a couple of washers to the strut tower nuts, although you should be careful that all of the threads still engage.
Apparently, some other brands of strut bar don't have this problem. Try doing a search for "1.6 strut bar" for more info.
