New springs...

Well, I couldn't stand how high my car sits, and I've wanted to lower it for some time now, but since it was just a DD I didn't want to attract the attention of rice boys...(i have intake too..) and it seems that everytime somebody sees a lowered car that makes a "nonstock" revving sound...every civic tries to race 'em...

..anyways, this guy came in today and said he had some dropzone springs for his '99 Protege and he was selling the car and the buyer didn't want the springs...so i told him i'd take 'em. They were brand new and have less then 100 miles on 'em..got 'em for $50...lol..I'll post some pics and **** later...

How low do those drop? Under 100 miles?? That sounds a little off. Why would you put springs on your car when you were trying to sell it?

I think the car-buyer didn't want the springs, so the seller took them off, then Rotaryman got 'em for cheap.

Let us know how they ride!

Well, the guy selling the car is a customer of ours who has been selling his car for some time, but kept doing stuff to it because he wanted to and didn't expect it to sell anytime soon. We put the springs on and then when he sold it, the buyer said he didn't want those springs, so we took 'em off. They really do only have about 80 some odd miles on 'em. We put them on the car, he drove it home, drove it to work, and then back to our shop...he has another car he drives more often....

The springs dropped his car about 1.80" but the according to the specs..it should drop my ES 2" on all four corners....
